Case Details
This patient in her 70s presented with concern that her eyes appeared sad and tired and desire to look rejuvenated but natural.
On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted drooping of the eyebrows. The left side appeared worse, especially in the outer half. To address this brow ptosis, Dr. Phan recommended brow lift. For this patient, the brow lift may be achieved by making incisions behind the hairline or directly above the eyebrows. Given the more involvement of the former, patient opted for the latter. Incisions were made immediately above the eyebrows in the lateral two-thirds, where hoodings were heaviest.
Patient, pictured here 1-month post bilateral brow lift, demonstrated elevation of the heavy lateral skin hoodings. Patient looked refreshed, engaging and natural.
The discoloration along the incisions is expected and will continue to fade in the coming weeks to month.
