Ptosis - Women 60's Before & After Case 91

This patient in her 60s presented with concerns that her eyes appeared sleepy and heavy. 

On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted two changes: thin, crepey upper and lower eyelids and upper lid ptosis. For the dermatochalasis, Dr. Phan recommended blepharoplasty to remove the excess skin. For the ptosis, Dr. Phan recommended external ptosis repair to shorten and tighten the levator muscles, allowing the muscles to lift the upper eyelids wider.
