Upper Blepharoplasty Before & After Case 83

This patient in his 70s presented with concerns of eyes looking smaller, sleepy and aged. He recalled having bigger eye openings at one time. 

During evaluation, Dr. Phan noted excess upper eyelid skin on both sides that draped over the lash line and partially covered the eye opening. Importantly, the underlying eye openings remained well sized, and the natural eyelid crease measured  at appropriate height under the skin folds. Based on these findings, Dr. Phan recommended bilateral upper blepharoplasty to remove the redundant skin and restore the natural upper eyelid contour.

Patient, pictured here 2 months post blepharoplast, demonstrated natural rejuvenation. Eyes appeared open, refreshed, and engaged. Patient results reflected restoration of his natural eye anatomy without looking overdone.
