Case Details
The patient in her 40s presented with concerns for upper eyelid sagginess, lower lid bag and asymmetry. He and his wife felt these changes made him look old.
During evaluation, Dr. Phan determined that patient had excess skin of the upper eyelids and herniated orbital fat of the lower eyelids. Dr. Phan recommended bilateral upper blepharoplasty to remove the redundant skin and fat transposition or repositioning to spread from where there was too much orbital fat to hollowed areas beneath.
Patient, pictured here 1-month post bilateral upper blepharoplasty and lower lid fat transposition, demonstrated restored eyelid anatomy, allowing for elevated skin folds and smoother lower eyelids. Patient looked refreshed, balanced and not overdone.
