Case Details
This patient in her 50s presented with the concern of right worse than left heavy skin folds.
During evaluation, Dr. Phan noted excess skin on both sides. The right side seemed worse because the tail of the right brow sat at a lower position and did not support the right upper eyelid as on the left side. Dr. Phan recommended bilateral upper blepharoplasty and right browpexy. The former removed excess skin, and the latter involved placed a suture in the right brow to anchor it to the forehead tissues.
Patient, pictured here 10-day post bilateral upper blepharoplasty and right browpexy, demonstrated more tarsal plate show (the space between the eyelid crease and lash line) and more symmetry.
Of note, bruising had descended downward, and inflammation was subsiding. Discoloration from inflammation would continue to improve in the coming weeks.
