Double Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 2

This patient in his late teens presented with concerns that his eyes appeared hooded and sleepy. Patient brought in photographs of eyelids that he liked--they all had higher eyelid creases and double eyelids. 

During evaluation, Dr. Phan noted almost no eyelid creases. She, therefore, recommended bilateral Asian blepharoplasty and setting the creases at 6-mm and with taper contour, which would allow for natural and balanced improvement. 

Patient pictured here 1-week post Asian blepharoplasty, demonstrating higher creases and natural appearing double eyelids. The bruising and swelling were considerably milder than typically expected for Asian blepharoplasty.
