This patient in her 50s presented with concerns that she appeared older and angry, which certainly did not reflect how she felt. At the same time, she wanted to continue to look like herself—just more refreshed.

On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted heavy upper eyelid hooding caused by both redundant skin and brow ptosis, with brow drooping being the more dominant factor. To address the brow ptosis and dermatochalasis, Dr. Phan recommended bilateral brow lift and blepharoplasty, respectively.
