Before & After
Case Details
This patient in his 60s presented with concern that he looked tired and even angry, which did not reflect how he felt, and the eyes appeared to be getting smaller over time.
On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted drooping eyebrows and redundant upper eyelid skin folds. The heavy folds overlapped and obscured the eye opening on both sides, although the true eye openings measured within the upper range of normal. To address the brow ptosis, Dr. Phan recommended a brow lift. To address the dermatochalasis, Dr. Phan recommended blepharoplasty. The patient wished to proceed in a stepwise fashion and elected to undergo the brow lift first. The brows were elevated by excising 1 cm of skin through incisions placed immediately above the superior border of the eyebrows.
Patient, pictured here 1-month post bilateral brow lift, demonstrated brighter, more refreshed eyes. He looked naturally rejuvenated without appearing overdone, and the incisions blended seamlessly into the eyebrows.
