Double Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 151

This patient in her 40s presented with concerns for heavy upper eyelids, covering her double eyelids. She expressed also being bothered by the downward contour of the outer aspect of her eyelid folds. This made her appeared sad and tired. Patient wished to improve these aspects as much as possible to achieve her preferred aesthetics, which is natural, balanced double eyelids.

After reviewing the patient's desired crease height and contour, Dr. Phan recommended bilateral Asian blepharoplasty to create 6-mm creases with flare contour and 7-mm of excess skin removal. 

Patient, pictured here 1-week post bilateral Asian blepharoplasty with skin removal, demonstrated the desired double eyelids and lid contours, while preserving a natural appearance. At this early stage, mild swelling and bruising are still part of the normal healing process and will resolve in the coming days to weeks. Patient looks refreshed, balanced and still very much herself.
