Case Details
This patient in her 60s presented with concern that eyes appeared hooded and angry.
On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted excess skin of both upper eyelids. Some of this were due to thinning, stretching and redundancy of the skin; while the rest was due to drooping of the eyebrows. This brow droop, especially in the center, also caused the "angry" appearance. To address both dermatochalasis and brow ptosis, Dr. Phan recommended blepharoplasty and brow lift. Patient opted for a stepwise approach and proceed with the former first.
Patient, pictured here 7-months post bilateral blepharoplasty, demonstrated less skin folds and thus visibility of the eyelashes and baby blue eyes again.
