Case Details
This patient in her 40s presented after long consideration of her eyelids. Specifically, she was bothered by the eyelid hooding and asymmetry.
During evaluation, Dr. Phan noted a mild lower right upper eyelid and asymmetry, ill-defined eyelid creases. Dr. Phan recommended tightening the right levator muscle, also known as external ptosis repair, and bilateral Asian blepharoplasty. The former lifted the right upper eyelid up to the height of the left upper eyelid, and the latter created a deeper, symmetrical eyelid creases.
Patient returned 4-months after her right external ptosis repair and bilateral Asian blepharoplasty with well-formed, deeper lid creases, more prominent double eyelids and symmetry. Note how, without removing skin, higher, deeper creases addressed the eyelid hoodings.
