Before & After
Case Details
This patient in his 70s presented with concerns about heavy upper eyelid hooding, but wanted to avoid an overly surgical look.
On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted that the heavy hooding was primarily due to brow ptosis. As the eyebrows descended over time, they pushed into the upper eyelids and contributed to the excess hooding. To address this, Dr. Phan recommended a brow lift. During surgery, incisions were carefully placed within the forehead rhytids, and a measured amount of skin was removed to allow the eyebrows to elevate.
Patient, pictured here 4 months after bilateral brow lift performed through forehead wrinkle incisions, demonstrated naturally lifted eyebrows and improved eyelid folds. Patient appeared more refreshed, while still looking completely like himself, and the incisions blended inconspicuously into the forehead.
