Case Details
This patient in his 70s presented with concern for heavy, drooping eyelids.
On evaluation, Dr. Phan noted heavy hoods due to drooping eyebrows in addition to redundant skin folds. The eye openings still measured in the normal range. To address brow ptosis and dermatochalasis, Dr. Phan recommended brow lift and blepharoplasty. For more subtle rejuvenation and stepwise approach, patient elected for the former first.
The brow lift was performed by minimal invasive technique, wherein an incision was made precisely in one of the natural forehead rhytids to remove excess skin and subcutaneous tissue.
Patient, pictured here 6 month post brow lift, demonstrated a natural elevation of the brows and overall rejuvenation. The incisions also healed and blended well into the forehead rhytids.
